MAGNAFLOC-355 SSK is a high-molecular-weight anionic polyacrylamide flocculant specifically developed for efficient solid–liquid separation in demanding industrial environments. As an anionic polyacrylamide, MAGNAFLOC-355 SSK works mainly through polymer bridging, where long polymer chains adsorb onto suspended particles and link them together into large, fast-settling flocs. Owing to its strong flocculation performance, shear resistance, and adaptability to different water chemistries, MAGNAFLOC-355 SSK is widely applied in mining, mineral processing, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge thickening, and water recovery systems.
Mining and Mineral Processing
One of the most important applications of MAGNAFLOC-355 SSK anionic polyacrylamide is in mining and mineral processing operations. Crushing, grinding, flotation, and washing stages generate large volumes of slurry containing ultra-fine mineral particles. These fine particles are difficult to settle naturally due to their small size and surface charge, which limits thickener efficiency and water recovery.
When MAGNAFLOC-355 SSK is dosed into mineral slurries, it rapidly aggregates fine particles into large, dense flocs.
