Nonionic flocculants are water soluble polymers or polyelectrolytes that do not carryan electric charge and have a high molecular weight and low ionic degree. 

Nonionic flocculant can be used in cases with low treatment requirements, such as wastewater treatment of papermaking and pulp, wastewater treatment of mineral processing and metal smeltingprocess, wastewater treatment of steel and stone processing plant, etc.
